Contractor:  Tremorfa

Location: Wales – Entire Estate

Duration:  December 2017 – Present

Tremorfa secured through an open tender process the contract to service, maintain and replace appliance bay doors, shutters automatic barriers and gates. Tremorfa secured both lots of North and South Wales in order to carry out the contract for the whole of the Welsh Ambulance Service Trust (WAST).

Similarly, to Mid and West Wales Fire and Rescue Service, WAST needed to upgrade their access systems to sites. Tremorfa agreed to work from the North division to the South with engineers working in teams of two installing these systems. Once completed, maintenance of these systems will begin, including corrective and reactive maintenance and emergency call outs. As these sites are part of emergency response, it is necessary that they are fully operational at all times, and emergency calls are of top priority.

Duration:  December 2017 – Present

Tremorfa secured this contract through an open tender process alongside the Welsh Ambulance Service Trust contract. The scope of requirements includes servicing, maintenance and replacement of appliance bay doors, shutters, automatic barriers and gates.

The entire MWWFRS estate needed to upgrade access systems to sites, starting with their Head Quarters in Carmarthen. We rolled out teams of two engineers to methodically work through each site to ensure a fully integrated system was installed across the estate. Tremorfa will then carry out all maintenance for MWWFRS after installation has been completed including corrective maintenance and emergency call outs for all their sites. As these sites are part of emergency response, it is necessary that they are fully operational at all times, and emergency calls are of top priority.

Contract Value: £100,000.00 P/A

All engineers and staff members who are involved with this contract have completed enhanced CRB checks (Tremorfa Policy) as well as the standard PNC Checks.
