Procurement Administrator

Hours: 37.5

Salary: National Minimum Wage

Location: Cardiff 

SUMMARY

To provide administrative support to the Procurement function and assist with the day-to-day running of department in accordance with the company policies and procedures. 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Cross checking and inputting of supplier invoices for payment purposes.
  • Communicate with suppliers to obtain quotations and negotiate on values such as price and delivery.
  • Converting material and subcontract requisitions into purchase orders and submission to the appropriate supplier – usually by email.
  • Liaising with internal stakeholders to ensure requirements are met and any queries are dealt with efficiently.
  • Expediting of purchase orders.
  • Assist with the filing of purchase ledger and other administrative duties within the Procurement department.

ESSENTIAL:

  • Can display a commitment to work toward tight deadlines
  • Demonstrate ability to work in a calm, organised and efficient manner
  • Must be a competent multi-tasker
  • Proficient in a variety of computer programs, including the Microsoft Office package
  • Comprehensive spelling and arithmetic skills
  • Clear and professional telephone manner

Security / Fire Engineer - Installation

Hours: 40+

Salary: £40,000+ Dependant on Experience

Location: Cardiff Based with weekly National Travel

SUMMARY

To provide effective support to the business by way of installation & Commissioning of the following systems;

  • Intruder Alarm Systems
  • Access Control
  • CCTV
  • Fire Systems
  • VESDA
  • Remote Signalling Systems such as Dualcom

Training will be provided to a suitable candidate if there are specific areas in which experience is lacking.

ESSENTIAL

  • Proven technical background with a good knowledge of Intruder Alarm systems, CCTV and Access Control Systems and Remote Signalling systems such as Dualcom
  • Familiar with British Standards relating to the above including PD662:2017, BS8243, BSEN50132
  • Smart Clean Appearance
  • Commitment to delivering high quality customer service
  • Ability to organise workload from pre-issued planner to maximise efficiency and cost control
  • Ability to work as an individual or as part of a team
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines
  • Full Driving License
  • Good understanding of DVR’s and their capabilities

PREFERABLE:

  • An understanding of Nurse call/ warden call systems would be of benefit

Tremorfa are seeking a full time Fire & Security Engineer – Installation to join our established Cardiff based team. The role will include weekly travel to different sites.

The ideal candidate will provide effective support to the business by way of Installation & Commissioning of the following systems:

The ideal candidate will be flexible and reliable, can to work to and achieve set targets, be a strong team player who is able to motivate others and have excellent punctuality.

ESSENTIAL:

• City & Guilds 17th Edition Wiring Regulations 2382-15

• Level 3 Technical Certificate Relevant relevantto the NVQ either as part of the NVQ Diploma or approved equivalent.

• Willing to take part in an Out of Hours rota

• Submission of relevant paperwork in a timely manner

• Keeping organized stock levels in vehicle to avoid unwanted return visits

• Proven Experience in Providing Quality Workmanship

• Smart and clean appearance

• Ability to work alone or as part of a team

• Commitment to delivering high quality customer service

• Full driving license

 

MUST BE ABLE TO:

• Be security and CRB checked

• Have a 5 year employment history

• Work at height from ladders and scaffolding

To provide effective support to the business by way of inspecting  and testing of:

  • Addressable and conventional Fire Alarm Systems
  • Emergency lighting systems including battery systems
  • Intruder alarm systems
  • Access control
  • CCTV
  • Remote signaling systems such as Redcare & Dualcom
  • Taking part in an out of hours on call rota

 

ESSENTIAL

  • Proven technical background with a good knowledge of above systems
  • Taking part in an out of hours on call rota
  • Familiar with the British standards relating to the above
  • Ability to learn and adapt to new systems and technology
  • Ability to manage and plan maintenance visits within their scheduled time
  • Attend and repair emergency callouts as required
  • Submission of relevant paperwork in a timely manner
  • Keeping organized stock levels in vehicle to avoid unwanted return visits
  • Smart and clean appearance

Mechanical Maintenance Engineer

Hours: 40

Salary: £25,000 P/A

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • The day to day duties include undertaking both planned and reactive maintenance
  • Typical duties will include service and maintenance on HVAC equipment and associated BMS controls
  • Carry out minor repairs and identify on-repairable faults in plant and machinery and promptly advise the Line Manager of findings.
  • To prioritise maintenance and repair work to agreed time-scales
  • Regular checks to ensure all tools and equipment necessary to complete maintenance and repairs are available and serviceable at all times.
  • Liaise with management regarding any health & safety issues, ongoing repairs, maintenance and building projects
  • To participate in the on-call rota

QUALIFICATIONS

  • City and Guilds Level 2/3 Diploma in Refrigeration/Air Conditioning, F-Gas C&G 2079, Heat Pumps, 18th Edition Wiring
  • The ideal candidate will have general experience in HVAC service and maintenance
  • Knowledge of working with chillers, heat pumps and electrical installation experience will be an advantage
  • The ideal candidate will be IT literate and have the ability to work alone or as part of a team, produce job site reports, liaise with customers and have an understanding of safe working practices.
  • Proven track record in Commercial Building Maintenance with References
  • Full driving licence
